To the four bells of this church calling all to serve God a fifth was added in lasting memory of those from this parish who fell for freedom 1939 - 1945 Philip A. Berry - Commander, Royal Navy. Charles Fane - Captain, Coldstream Guards. Douglas Gray - Private, The Queens Royal Regiment. Michael T.G. Henry D.F.C. - Flight Lieutenant, Royaal Air Force Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends
